A young bilingual teacher who migrated to the United States over 25 years ago in the pursuit of her dream to join one day " Doctors without Borders" and practice the noble art of medicine for the sake of healing the sick and easing the pain of the suffering.
But if only life is that simple!
The young Ihsane faced many challenges in her new home: language barrier, complicated schooling system, discrimination due to political conflicts, family strains, financial struggles, health issues...etc. Yet, Ihsane never lost the faith that her noble goal of serving the humanity will be blessed and achieved one day
Nursing Schools
Ihsane graduated after long 7 years from Hunter college school of Nursing with BSN, honor Cum Laude and another five years in graduate school in Lehman College as a Family Nurse Practitioner and about to complete her DNP in Capella University. Ihsane worked as a medical/ surgical Nurse at many private and city hospitals, did home care visits, charge nurse, preceptor for nursing students to finally find her place with women at Women Caring for Women clinic. After 3 years of work as a Nurse practitioner and under the request of many of her patients to extend her help to involve primary care, counseling, weight loss management, Ihsane's Family Health came to life at the end of 2025
Functional Medicine Model
When NP Ihsane was accepted to the nursing school in 2013, she was at the worst of her health battling morbid obesity, depression, Diabetes, hypertension, fibromyalgia, IBS, osteopenia, kidney and gallstones, chronic fatigue...to mention few. Each time she goes to a provider with questions, she gets only more medications with more side effects with no answers until she was at some point bedbound.
finding a solution for her mysterious health decline was an urgent matter and the answers were in functional medicine. However, the cost was beyond imaginable. A simple initial visit that she asked about was $6,000. With only faith, Ihsane started taking the matter of her health personally, researching vigorously and promising that if she can figure out her own mysterious health decline and reverse it, she would help any person in need regardless materialistic gain.
NP Ihsane successfully completed the rigorous functional medicine training and currently provides functional medicine services at not even a small fraction of what other providers charge to fulfill her spiritual oath and promise.
Weight Loss Training
We envision a future where our patients are empowered to take control of their health. Through lifestyle changes and a deeper understanding of their bodies, we believe you can reverse most health conditions including obesity and achieve lasting wellness. Weight loss is more complicated than few injections which effect will fade after discontinuing them. WE promise an individualized care plan that focuses mainly on teaching healthy lifestyle but also we can use some supplements and weight loss medication support as a boost. We're here to guide you every step of the way.
